Privacy Policy for This Website
What this page covers
This page explains, in plain language, what happens to the details you type into the quote form on this website. It covers what the form asks for, why it asks, who sees it, and how you can ask for your details to be removed.
When this page says Timothy Parks, I, me or my, it means the person who runs this business and answers the phone. The name on this website belongs to that same person.
This page is a description of what the form does. It is not a contract, and it is not a legal opinion. If anything here is unclear, ask me when I call you back.
What the quote form asks for
The Request a quote form asks for a small number of things:
- Your name.
- Your mobile phone number.
- Your property address, meaning the place where the work would be done.
- Your email address, so written details about your request can reach you.
- A consent box, which you tick if you agree to be contacted about your request.
That is all the form asks for. It does not ask for a payment card, a bank account, a date of birth or any government number. You should not type anything like that into it.
What the form records without asking
Honesty requires me to mention a few things that happen behind the scenes. When you send the form, a few extra details travel with your request, and you did not type them.
- Which audience the page was written for. A short internal label that says what kind of page the form was on.
- The consent record. The version number of the consent wording, plus a fingerprint of the exact words you saw. Together they are the record of what you agreed to.
- The time. The moment the form was loaded, which helps tell a real person from an automated program.
- The address of the page you came from and any tags in the link. If you reached the form from a link that carries campaign tags, those tags are saved, along with the page you were on before. This helps me understand which pages people find useful.
- Your internet address and browser type. The server notes the IP address your request came from and the browser it used. That is how I catch repeated junk from one source, and the address is kept with your request.
- A hidden trap field. A box that people cannot see and that automated programs often fill in. If it is filled, the request is treated as spam.
None of these is used to build a profile of you, and none of them is sold. They exist so that the form works, so that your consent can be shown and so that junk can be filtered out.
Why the form asks for each item
Each piece has one job.
- Your name lets me greet you properly when I call back.
- Your mobile phone number is how I reach you. The call back is the point of the form.
- Your property address tells me where the job is. For a business that serves several towns, the address matters because the price depends on the job, the location and the drive time.
- Your email address lets me send written details, such as what I found and what the work would involve.
- The consent box records that you agreed to be contacted.
If you would prefer not to share something, you are free to leave the form alone. The phone number on the contact page works just as well.
How I use your details
I use what you send to call you back about the work you asked about. On that call, I will talk through the job with you and explain what the price depends on. If you want to go ahead, the next steps get agreed on that call.
Sending the form does not book a visit, take a payment or commit you to anything. It only starts a conversation.
Your details are used for that purpose: replying to your request. They are not used to build a profile of you. I do not use the form to ask for anything unrelated to the work.
The consent box
The form includes a consent box. Ticking it tells me you agree to be contacted about your quote request by phone, by text message and by email. That contact may use automated technology.
The box is there so your agreement is clear and recorded. It is not ticked for you in advance. If you do not tick it, you are choosing not to be contacted through the form.
Agreeing to be contacted is not a requirement to buy anything. Asking for a quote does not oblige you to hire me, and you can say no at any point.
No sale of your information
Your information is not sold. The details you send through the form are not offered to other businesses, advertisers or list-sellers, and they are not traded for anything.
The only purpose is the one above: so I can get back in touch about your request.
Communication and consent
By submitting the quote form and ticking the consent box, you agree that Timothy Parks may contact you about your request. That contact may come by phone, text message (SMS) and email, including with automated technology. Message and data rates may apply. Agreeing is not a condition of any purchase or service.
You can opt out at any time. Reply STOP to any text message, or call (407) 383-9118 and ask to be removed, and the contact stops. These communications are handled in line with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable state communication laws, including Tennessee's.
Your contact details are not sold, shared or handed to third parties for their marketing.
How to ask for removal
You can ask me to remove your details at any time. Contact details are on the contact page. When you ask, say your name and the phone number, email or property address you used so the right request can be found.
- Tell me you want your details removed.
- Mention the name, phone number or email you used on the form.
- Say whether you also want contact to stop, which is the usual reason people ask.
I will take your request seriously and tell you what has been done. If you are not sure whether your request has been handled, ask again and a reply will follow.
How long do I keep your details?
A request record is the details you sent plus the consent record that travelled with them. It is kept for 24 months from the day it arrives. That covers the time a roof or repair question usually takes to turn into a job, a follow-up visit, or nothing at all. After 24 months it is removed in the ordinary course. The exceptions are a record that became part of a job's paperwork, or a removal you asked for sooner.
Nothing here says a legal rule sets that number. It is the period I have chosen so that I can answer a follow-up call without asking you to start again. It also means details are not kept just because nobody deleted them.
Looking at or correcting what you sent
If you made a typing mistake in your phone number or address, or you want to know what you sent, you can ask me. Send a short message through the contact page or mention it on the call. The simplest fix is usually to tell me the correct detail so that it replaces the wrong one.
What this site does not do
To keep expectations clear, here is what the quote form does not do:
- It does not take payments.
- It does not book or schedule a visit by itself.
- It does not promise a price, because no price is shown on this site.
- It does not ask for sensitive personal numbers.
- It does not sign you up for anything beyond the call back about your request.
If a page on this site ever asked for more than the items listed above, it would not be following this page.
Keeping your details safe
I treat what you send with care. Details are used only for answering your request. The form does one simple thing: it gathers the details listed on this page so a callback can happen. That includes the few it records without asking.
You can help by double-checking what you type and by not including extra personal information in any free-text box. If you think something has been sent to the wrong place, contact me.
What do the analytics tools record?
This site is set up to use two measurement tools: Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. Google Analytics counts visits and which pages were read. Clarity records how a page was used, including scrolling, clicks and mouse movement, in the form of a session replay. Both are configured to leave out anything typed into a form field.
Both tools set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can stop them with a browser setting, a content blocker, or Google's own opt-out add-on. Every page of this site still works with them blocked.
Neither tool is used to decide anything about you, and nothing from them is sold.
Visiting the site without sending a form
You can read every page on this site without giving any information. Reading a page does not require a form. Nothing on the page asks you to hand over details unless you choose to send a quote request.
This page describes what the quote form does, and no more than that.
Changes to this page
If the form changes, for example by asking for something new, this page will be updated to match. If the way I use your details changes in a way that matters to you, this page should say so. When in doubt, ask me and I will tell you directly.
How to reach me about privacy
Questions about this page, requests to correct or remove your details, or a request that contact stop: call (407) 383-9118 or email timothyp@tproco.com. You can also use the Request a quote form if you want to ask about work. Your details will be handled as described here.
Your trust matters here, and your personal information is handled with care and respect. Thank you for reading.
